Free or subsidised contraception services are available at selected providers across Aotearoa New Zealand and for people that meet eligibility criteria**. To access free or subsidised contraception services, you will have to:
1 – Visit a provider that is FUNDED to deliver free or subsidised contraception services; AND
2 – Meet any ONE of the following priority populations:
Informed consent, patient choice and autonomy must be upheld at all times
Ask your service provider to see if you are eligible to access funding. If you are not eligible, fees will be determined by the provider.
