Te Whatu Ora | Health NZ are funding specific contraception services for free* to help empower people to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health.
This is in addition to other services that are available in the community through Sexual Health Clinics and Family Planning. Services that are covered under this agreement and free of charge to waahine/women+, includes:
Free appointment time to insert and/or remove either an Implant or IUD device

To be eligible** for free contraception, service users reside in Counties Manukau or are enrolled or are presenting to a practice in Counties Manukau and meet any ONE of the following priority populations:
Informed consent, patient choice and autonomy must be upheld at all times
Ask your service provider to see if you are eligible to access funding. If you are not eligible, fees will be determined by the provider.
